SC Governor’s School for Science & Mathematics
Working with the Governor’s School for nearly a decade has brought about many, many new program logos, brochures, flyers, books and more. Managing more than 20 properties for summer camps, residential education, virtual programs and more means being able to balance uniqueness with conformity, which is a strong focus for branding design. Knowing what rules to create and use strengthens the design of a brand.
IDENTITY CASE STUDY
South Carolina Humanities
South Carolina Humanities is a statewide nonprofit and the state program of the National Endowment for the Humanities, and after 15 years with an identity, they were ready for a new look in today’s market. We worked to identify their key visual components and then worked to craft an original and effective icon, while updating their wordmark to something more modern and timeless. We then worked with their board to create a custom color palette to reflect the richness of SC’s history.
