SC Governor’s School for Science & Mathematics wanted to create brochures for their recruitment of new students, and a magazine for their alumni. The viewbook is in its tenth year, and continues to grow and change each year. The challenge is finding new and interesting ways to present the information to attract students who might want to go to the school. The alumni magazine was a new endeavor to engage alumni of the school. The magazine, sent into homes, features alumni, trending topics, and more. Both pieces won statewide print and marketing awards for the school in 2016 and 2017.

Visual branding efforts for South Carolina Governor’s School for Science & Mathematics has spanned nearly a decade, and has encompassed dozens of program logos, view books, brochures, one-pagers, postcards, corporate identity packages, signage, corporate invitations and more. Anything the public has seen for the school, including email newsletters, envelopes, board presentations, etc., have been designed with a singular approach. From recruitment efforts, to outreach programs, even to legislature involvement, all pieces have been meticulously crafted to drive home that the school is the best STEM education in the state.
